On the shelf they sit side by side and look the same. But wholegrain and instant flakes behave differently in the bowl — here’s how to choose.
Wholegrain flakes
Dejunel Wholegrain Oat Flakes (500 g) keep the grain almost whole. They cook in 8–10 minutes and make a porridge with texture, where you can feel the grains. They’re the choice for a hearty porridge, granola and baking.
Instant flakes
Dejunel Instant Oat Flakes (400 g) are pressed thinner and pre-cooked. They’re ready in 2–3 minutes with just hot liquid, no boiling. They’re for rushed mornings and for a finer, creamier porridge.
So which one?
- You have time and want texture → wholegrain.
- You have 3 minutes → instant.
- Dough, bars, granola → wholegrain.
Both are 100% oats. They differ only in how much processing has touched them — and how much time you have in the morning.
