Homemade granola is cheaper, less sweet and far more flavourful than store-bought. It’s made on a single tray and keeps for two weeks in a jar.
You’ll need
- 300 g Dejunel Wholegrain 7-Grain Flakes
- a handful of Dejunel Sunflower Seeds and one of Dejunel Pumpkin Seeds
- 4 tablespoons honey or syrup
- 3 tablespoons oil
- a pinch of salt, cinnamon
How to make it
- Mix the flakes and seeds with the honey, oil, salt and cinnamon.
- Spread in a thin layer on a tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake at 160 °C for about 20–25 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
- Let it cool completely in the tray — only then does it turn crunchy.
Add dried fruit after baking, not before, so it doesn’t burn. Serve with yogurt or milk.
